Introduction
The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam (hereafter referred to as “CTCVN”) established the “Junior Chapter of the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam” (hereafter referred to as “the Junior Chapter”) based on these guidelines. The aim is to encourage the participation of young Taiwanese entrepreneurs in Vietnam and the second generation of Taiwanese businesspeople, ensuring the continuation and development of the CTCVN and its branches. The English name is THE COUNCIL OF TAIWANESE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE IN VIETNAM JUNIOR CHAPTER.
The organization is composed of young individuals who are either from Taiwan or have Taiwanese parents and who support the mission of Taiwan and the Junior Chapter. The goal is to connect second-generation Taiwanese businesspeople or young entrepreneurs, promote business development, and guide them to participate in CTCVN activities.
The Junior Chapter, referred to as the “Vietnamese Junior Chapter,” was initiated by Chiu Chen-Yuan (currently acting mayor of Hsinchu City, Taiwan) and was founded in 2011. Lee Fang-Tsang served as the first president. At the beginning, there were only 9 members. After 13 years and 8 presidential terms of dedicated effort, the membership has grown to nearly 200 members.
