Introduction of President Lin Yang-Yi
“Our mission is to strengthen the connection and cooperation between second-generation Taiwanese businesspeople and young entrepreneurs in Vietnam. We aim to promote the exchange of business information and opportunities, develop business ventures together, and actively expand into international markets. We also focus on cultivating and demonstrating leadership and management skills among young Taiwanese entrepreneurs to enhance business competitiveness. Furthermore, we encourage Taiwanese youth to join the CTCVN and its regional, continental, and global chapters, and to participate in related activities. We serve as a platform linking young Taiwanese in Vietnam with Taiwan to continue and promote economic and trade relations, while also elevating the international image and status of Taiwanese businesspeople.”
President Lin Yang-Yi noted that Vietnam has shown significant progress in recent years in terms of economic growth and attracting foreign investment. It offers abundant business opportunities for companies from Taiwan and other regions, especially showing a strong rebound during the post-COVID recovery. This growth is mainly driven by the development of manufacturing, rising exports, and Vietnam’s increasing role in the global supply chain. Taiwanese investment in Vietnam continues to rise, mainly in sectors like manufacturing, electronics, machinery, plastics, and textiles. Many Taiwanese companies are relocating production lines to Vietnam to take advantage of its labor force and lower costs, improving their competitiveness. These trends indicate that Vietnam has become a highly attractive investment destination in Southeast Asia.
